If your car’s battery is flat or draining too quickly, it may be time for a new battery. However, before we supply and fit a new battery, we make sure that its really necessary and not being caused by some other faulty component. We’ll check and service your battery leads, terminals and wiring to make sure a new battery is the right thing for you. It’s all part of the service!

Dual Battery Installation
Camping, winching or even just four wheel driving is hard on batteries. A good dual battery system is very important to ensure that you can continue to enjoy some of life’s luxuries (i.e. heating and cooling) as well as have refrigeration and other necessities.
A good dual battery system is also an insurance policy for not getting stuck in some obscure remote wilderness with a flat battery.
A good dual battery system should allow you to run your fridge, heating/cooling and other appliances all weekend without flattening your battery.
When it comes to dual battery systems you have two options:
- You can have the traditional dual battery system, which is a deep cycle battery which is isolated from the starting battery. This allows you run camping appliances without the risk of flattening your starting battery.
- Or you can run two cranking batteries in parallel to double the amps available to your starter motor or winch, making either work a lot better when under load.
